At a glance
For hospitality work, the category vakkracht matters alongside age and function group. A job title on its own does not establish your classification. Use the written classification and the table for the date on which the work was performed.
Read the correct part of the wage table
The July 2026 table separates skilled workers, non-skilled workers and apprentices. Its basic and final wages are different from the advisory increments. The lookup here shows adult basic-wage references; it does not determine an experience increment or replace a higher contractual wage.
An extra hour is not automatically overtime
The CAO uses a reference period. Established overtime is normally compensated in time, with payment conditions when time off cannot be provided. Do not apply a generic 50% premium to every extra hour.
Night work has a specific scope
The supported night rule concerns hotel front-office work in a continuous shift covering midnight to 06:00. It is not a universal night premium for every restaurant or hospitality job.

Questions about this CAO
Are the increments in the table compulsory?
The publisher labels the increments as advisory. Check the basic wage, existing wage and applicable performance-pay provisions separately.
How does this tool convert monthly pay?
The tool uses hourly wage × weekly hours × 52 ÷ 12. At 38 hours per week this corresponds to 1,976 annual hours. The result is a monthly average; unusual rosters and minimum-wage compliance require a separate check.
What does the overtime option calculate?
It calculates the payment for established overtime when payment rather than time off is due. It does not decide how many of your recorded hours legally qualify.
Does every night shift receive the same premium?
No. Confirm that the hotel front-office conditions match your shift before applying the supported rule.
Is holiday allowance the same as paid leave?
No. Holiday allowance is money calculated on an eligible pay basis; paid leave is time away from work. Keep them separate when comparing an offer.
