The short answer

For regular work in October 2026, use the salary table from August 1, 2026. Your position determines the scale; the applicable step and employee category determine the amount. The table is a gross salary reference, not a calculation of your full net salary.

Choose an existing combination of scale and step

Not every scale has the same number of steps. An empty cell is not a zero amount and may not be filled in with the amount from another scale. Check your written classification and the date on which the next step applies. The table checker on this site supports B through H for regular employees aged 21 through 66; special categories require separate control.

Keep new and older documents together

In the collective labor agreement 2026–2027, the publisher refers to the previous full text, the agreed amendment document and the new wage table. Only reading the old book can therefore result in an outdated salary. Conversely, a new wage table does not automatically change every other collective labor agreement provision. Read the correct combination per topic and do not use an unknown future minimum wage as a fixed amount.

What happens if a collective labor agreement amount is lower than the minimum wage?

The legal lower limit continues to apply. Check age and date of employment and do not blindly use an older collective labor agreement table.

Does each job category in the manual have a pay scale?

No. The job manual also contains references outside the collective labor agreement scales, including K, L and M. These do not automatically have an associated collective labor agreement salary table.

Is a higher wage agreement permitted?

Yes. The minimum table is not the actual agreed wage for everyone. Keep a higher agreement in writing.

Can I already count on the minimum wage of January 2027?
