At a glance
Start with the function scale and step in your written agreement. The employer’s activities and the applicable agreement matter more than the fact that you happen to work inside a greenhouse. Agency workers should also select their agency agreement.
Use the table for the work date
The checked table takes effect on 1 August 2026. It contains different scale lengths, so not every scale has every step. The lookup covers regular adult employees only; student, seasonal, apprentice and other special classifications need separate verification.
Check which roster system applies
Under a regular roster, overtime and its compensation can be assessed differently from an annual-hours model. A surplus of hours in the latter model is not automatically payable overtime that week. Keep your agreed roster and the reconciliation period.
Keep pay and housing separate
Read the gross wage before subtracting housing or other costs. If you work through an agency, a client wage-table result is a reference for questions about your package; it is not a finding that this exact amount must appear as your agency base wage.

Questions about this CAO
Why are some steps missing from the selector?
Scales have different lengths. A blank cell in the source table is not a zero wage and is not a valid classification.
Can I use this table for a student job?
Not without checking the special rules. The automated lookup is deliberately limited to regular employees aged 21–66.
Does the eleventh hour receive another premium on top of ordinary overtime?
Do not count the same hour twice. The calculator offers separate, explicitly scoped options for ordinary overtime and the eleventh working hour.
Can I use the same rule with an annual-hours model?
No. The available simple overtime presets concern a regular roster. Annual reconciliation and exceptional arrangements require their own assessment.
Why is an older full CAO book listed?
The publisher links it alongside the agreed changes and the current wage table. The documents are labelled separately so an older complete text cannot be mistaken for a new consolidated edition.
