At a glance
When an agency employs you, record two different things: the agreement used by the agency and the conditions of the company where you actually work. The client company is called the inlener. Knowing only its industry is not enough to identify all the conditions.
Start with the assignment confirmation
Ask for the agency CAO, client name, job classification, agreed hours and wage in writing. Also ask which comparable job at the client was used to establish the package. Keep this information when your assignment changes.
Compare the complete package
The 2026–2028 agency agreements use equal-value conditions. Comparing one hourly wage or one allowance cannot establish whether the whole package is correct. Paid leave, allowances and other components may also matter. Our client selector provides a documented reference rather than a compliance verdict.
Changing client or agency
A different assignment may bring different client conditions even when you remain with the same agency. Update the client selection and keep each assignment period separate. Do not replace a written higher wage with a lower table reference.

Questions about this CAO
Can I choose both my agency and my client’s CAO?
Yes. Choose agency work first, then ABU or NBBU and the agreement of the client company. If either is unknown, leave it unknown and ask for written confirmation.
Does the client CAO become my employment contract?
Not automatically. It supplies relevant comparison conditions, while the agency agreement and your actual contractual package also matter.
What if the client has no CAO?
Choose “No collective agreement”. Ask for the conditions of a comparable directly employed worker; the absence of a client CAO does not by itself remove the comparison.
Can this tool certify equal pay?
No. It helps identify the correct documents and compare selected components. It does not value or certify the entire package.
What should I keep after an assignment ends?
Keep your contract, assignment confirmation, payslips, hours and the documents used for the agreed conditions. They make later questions much easier to resolve.
