The short answer

The Construction & Infrastructure collective labor agreement uses different wage systems for construction site employees and UTA employees. First choose the correct employee category and job classification. An hourly amount from the construction site scale is not a reliable substitute for a UTA salary scale.

Construction site: guaranteed wages and agreed wages

For regular adult construction site employees, the table contains groups A to E. The guaranteed wage is a collective labor agreement lower limit for the position. The fixed agreed salary may be higher, for example due to an agreed performance bonus. Young people, students and special intake categories have different tables or conditions. Control on this site is therefore limited to explicitly supported situations.

UTA: job level and salary scale

UTA stands for executive, technical and administrative work within the relevant collective labor agreement classification. The job ladders and levels control the salary scale. Ask for a classification based on actual tasks and responsibilities. Compare monthly or periodic salaries for the same working hours and keep holiday allowance and individual budget separate. The site does not yet calculate an automatic UTA classification.

This is how you check it

  1. Check whether you are classified as a construction site or UTA employee.
  2. Request the job group or job level and the correct dated table.
  3. Compare the table amount with your written salary agreement and any fixed allowance.
Practical example

Table example: for a regular construction site employee aged 21 or older, group D shows €22.68 gross per hour in the 2026 table used. This does not determine the salary of a UTA work planner or a student.

Questions about this CAO

Is the guaranteed salary the same as my full salary?

Not necessary. An agreed performance bonus or other wage component can be added to this.

Can an executor be a UTA employee?

That depends on the collective labor agreement job classification and activities. Use the function manual and not just the function name.

Does the adult table also apply to students?

Not automatically. Age and apprenticeship status may lead to a different table or arrangement.

Why don't I get an automatic UTA result?

The site does not yet support a controlled classification calculation. The original UTA table remains available for targeted comparison.
