At a glance
Cleaning employment can involve several locations, a changing contractor and different kinds of work. Check the name of your employer, the applicable agreement and the correct part of the CAO before comparing wages.
Find your classification
Ask for the function group and recognised service years. Compare like with like: basic hourly wage, an all-in amount and an amount including special-hours premiums are not interchangeable. Use the original tables linked below.
The type of cleaning work matters
The CAO contains specific sections for specialist cleaning, administrative and supervisory functions and hotel cleaning. A premium from one section should not be copied into another without checking the conditions.
Keep records when the contractor changes
Save the old and new contracts, recognised service years, outstanding leave and payslips. If work continues at the same site under a new contractor, read the contract-change provisions before assuming that every condition starts again from zero.

Questions about this CAO
Does cleaning in a hotel automatically mean the Horeca CAO?
No. The employer and applicable agreement matter. The cleaning CAO itself includes a hotel section. Check your employment documents.
Can I calculate an automatic cleaning premium here?
You can choose verified fees from Article 22 and the separate D part for hotel cleaning. Select your arrangement, check the time period and confirm the conditions. Use the basic hourly wage; the calculator will not apply a surcharge without your choice.
What if I work at several locations?
Keep the hours and travel between locations visible. Do not combine all payments into one hourly amount without checking their purpose.
Which version should I download?
Use the document for the relevant work period and check whether individual provisions start on different dates. The publisher’s source page is linked beside the PDF.
Should I keep my old payslips after a contractor change?
Yes. They help document your pay, recognised years, leave and other conditions when checking the new arrangement.
